According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, WWE RAW Reunion “has evidently been a ton of headaches,” and “there was more than one segment written that had to be changed today because talent involved were flagged by medical from doing anything physical.”
Meltzer added: “Many segments have been changed at the last minute, and not due to Vince changing his mind, but due to things medical wouldn’t allow to happen.”
- Originally, Ricochet was supposed to be in the DX segment. But it was rewritten because Ricochet is out with an elbow infection. Seth Rollins wrestled Styles instead.
- Mick Foley was not cleared to take any bumps. He did take a Mandible Claw from Bray Wyatt though.
- Pat Patterson was not cleared to wrestle, so they did a phantom title change without any cameras present.
- Rikishi was also not cleared to wrestle. He was supposed to give the stinkface to D-Von Dudley and The Revival.
