During this Friday’s episode of Smackdown on FS1, a frustrated Shotzi showed her vicious side and Sasha Banks found herself on the receiving end of her brutal attack.
Charlotte Flair opened Smackdown and addressed last week’s controversial title exchange with Becky Lynch. The Boss took offense at her words and challenged Flair for the title but she was denied. Flair however granted Shotzi an opportunity to a contenders match.
Banks watched the match closely from ringside. At the end, The Blueprint accidentally distracted Shotzi and Flair quickly used the chance to hit Natural Selection for the win. A frustrated Shotzi snapped and viciously attacked Banks who she blamed for her loss.
In an interview during Talking Smack on Saturday, Shotzi gave an explaination for her actions:
“I'm fed up, plain and simple. I’m fed up. I'm done being the happy easygoing Shotzi. I have been screwed over on title opportunity over title opportunity. My tag partner left me. I came here just wanting to have fun and kick ass. Well, you know what? I haven’t had fun in a really long time. So there is just one thing left to do. Sasha was my breaking point and now she is my target. I'm not letting anyone walk over me anymore. I am running over everyone in my way.”
